According to the CEC report, a total of around 180,878 rooftop solar systems were installed during the first half of 2026, a 35 per cent increase on the same period in 2025, and the strongest six-month total for system installations since 2021.

Funny how that works; Government subsidises to have solar and batteries installed, lots of people take advantage of the scheme.

It is a shame that the people taking advantage of the scheme are the same scam artists that took advantage of the LED lightbulb scheme, previous solar scheme and the insulation scheme.

Although the Solar + batteries scheme mean that more profiteers can benefit.
