Ibis chicks are as ugly as I imagined...

An adult ibis in a nest, with an ugly ibis chick beneath it. Another chick is laying down in the nest, and appears to be dead.

I saw this little guy in a nest on the way through Gympie. With a dead sibling in the nest too...
