Kudos, but what took them so much time?
This is only about leaving Shitter they already have about 3.5k posts on Mastodon. Still took them long to leave Shitter, but I thought you might be interested in the extra information!

The question remains ;-)
F(L)OSS FOMO!
TIL LibreOffice has socials! One of these days I should look into joining Mastodon
Join us! It’s a slow start but that’s the point! Still wish algorithmic feeds are an option though.
Thanks, new follow added.

Can we stop crossposting the same link to 3 communities? A lot of us already follow multiple.
Some of us only follow one of them.
Some of us don't mind, as we use platforms that aggregate all of the cross posts in to one place, and show all of the comments together!
Switch to piefed today! 😏
I'd like to add Piefed to my aggregator, but its RSS feeds are a little too bare-bones to be usable. No descriptions or authors? Just the article title and a link?
https://codeberg.org/rimu/pyfedi/issues?state=open&type=all&labels=&milestone=0&project=0&assignee=0&poster=0&sort=relevance&q=RSS
I don't think that's been requested yet if you don't mind making a ticket.
Many times I've used piefed, wrote a comment, some longer some shorter, and without fail, it denied posting after writing it out but without telling me specifically why I can't post. Just no permission. Consequently, it never stuck to me.

Most people on Mastodon already use or at least know about LibreOffice, so I feel like this is kinda a dumb move from them.
Leaving TwitterX is always a good idea
When you're a regular person, sure, but for companies/organizations? Dumb decision.

For money/presence
Using a nazi owned child porn factory is kinda dumb in my opinion.
